PORT ST. LUCIE — Mike Pelfrey suffered a muscle strain in his lower left leg during his bullpen session Friday and will be sidelined until he is pain-free, the Mets announced this afternoon. Pelfrey felt the soreness at the end of the session and was examined by team doctors, who then ordered him to rest.
