Oliver Perez will make his first Triple-A rehab assignment Tuesday night in Buffalo against Lehigh Valley. Perez pitched in two extended spring training games in Port St. Lucie earlier this month, including a five-inning outing last week that apparently was so shaky the Mets refused to release the statistics from it. That came after Perez — on the DL since May 7 after being yanked from the rotation — had a typical Ollie outing in his first extended spring game: four walks and seven strikeouts while throwing 56 pitches in just three innings.
