The Philadelphia Phillies are trying to crash Patrick Corbin’s homecoming to New York.

The lefty pitcher, long believed to be a fit for the Yankees’ rotation, spent Tuesday on a visit to the Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park, per multiple reports.

Corbin, who grew up a Yankees fan in Syracuse, is a free agent after posting a 3.15 ERA with the Diamondbacks this season.

The 29-year old’s presence at Citizens Bank Park came with a picture of him in a Phillies cap on the big screen in left field, an image that hit social media and sent fans into a tizzy over a potential signing.

Yankees GM Brian Cashman figures to get a chance to make his own pitch to Corbin, who could further solidify the rotation after Cashman traded for James Paxton from the Mariners last week.
