Online Random Drawings Provide Fans Opportunity For Single Game Ticket Purchase
For All Potential Postseason Games At Shea
FLUSHING, N.Y., September 4, 2007 â The New York Mets today announced the launch of online random drawings on mets.com and losmets.com for the opportunity to purchase tickets to potential 2007 Mets postseason games at Shea Stadium. The Mets last year received over one million registrations on mets.com and losmets.com for the online drawings.
All fans that register now on mets.com or losmets.com will automatically be eligible for the random drawings for single game ticket purchase opportunities for potential National League Division Series (NLDS), National League Championship Series (NLCS), and World Series games at Shea. There is no purchase or fee necessary to enter the online drawings. There is a limit of one entry per person. Not all entrants will be selected and there is no assurance that any particular entrant will be selected. Opportunities to purchase tickets are non-transferable.
Registration for the NLDS drawing closes Monday, September 10 at 11:59 p.m. A limited number of fans will be selected in a random drawing and notified via e-mail by Thursday, September 13 with instructions regarding the online purchase of up to four (4) tickets to one NLDS game at Shea, subject to availability by game at the time of the purchase. Tickets start at $45 each for the NLDS games and must be purchased with a major credit card. MasterCard is the preferred card of the Mets. Other major cards are also accepted. Per ticket and per order fees will apply.
Single game ticket sales for the Metsâ possible participation in the NLCS and World Series will be conducted through the same online random drawing process, at dates to be announced, from the same pool of online registrants. Additional registrations will be allowed for potential NLCS and World Series games. Fans registering before or after September 10 will be eligible for these potential NLCS and World Series ticket purchase options.
