We missed the last couple days with our prospect reports, so we’re coming back with a double dip tonight, as we check out the prospect reports from the last two days. The Mets had two players in Sunday’s report: Kingsport 2B Greg Veloz (3-for-5, 3B, 2 R, 2 RBI) and New Orleans starter Ruddy Lugo (seven shutout innings, five hits allowed, and also hit a home run). They also had three players in yesterday’s report: Binghamton OF Fernando Martinez (3-for-6, HR, 3 RBI, 2 R), Binghamton 1B Mike Carp (2-for-4, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 R, BB), and Kingsport DH Jefry Marte (2-for-3, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R).

Charleston C Jesus Montero led the Yankees representatives, as he made both reports, going 4-for-5 with a 2B, 2 RBI and a run scored Sunday and 3-for-4 with two runs scored yesterday.

Fellow RiverDog catcher Austin Romine (4-for-4, 2 HR, 2 RBI, 3 R) and Tampa’s Zach McAllister (one earned run on seven hits in six innings) joined Montero in Sunday’s report, while Montero was the only rep yesterday.
