The 12-player, three team deal that will bring set-up man J.J. Putz (pictured) to Queen is now official and will be announced by Mets GM Omar Minaya in Las Vegas in the next few minutes. The Mets are also sending minor-leaguers Maikel Cleto, Ezequiel Carrera and Jason Vargas to Seattle to complete the deal.
