The Louisiana-Lafayette celebration erupted suddenly, as if the team had just spontaneously won the championship. It flowed naturally — hand over fist, really.
The Ragin’ Cajuns, passing the time during a rain delay Friday in a game against Louisiana-Monroe, turned to every third-grader’s best means to settle a dispute: rock-paper-scissors. The teams huddled on the field, two rival gangs bent on winning, and chose a representative for what is likely the most heated roshambo duel ever recorded during a college baseball game.
The Ragin’ Cajuns took the crown, although the video doesn’t give us a peek into their covert strategy. (Rock always wins, right?)
