For Rangers pitcher Martín Pérez, nothing tastes sweeter than revenge.

Pérez fell and broke his elbow after being startled by a bull on his Venezuelan ranch in December. Making his Cactus League debut Sunday, roughly three months post-op, the lefty revealed the animal’s tragic fate.

“I killed him and I ate him,” Pérez said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Pérez gave his review of the meal.

“It was good meat,” he said. “No more bull.”
