According to a couple of outlets, the Mets have offered Derek Lowe a three-year deal worth roughly $36 million that is significantly below what was rumored (at least in dollars) last week. If Lowe doesn’t go for it, the Mets are set to turn their attention to Oliver Perez or Randy Wolf.
