Jose Reyes said his ailing left hamstring “a little better” today, but the Mets’ All-Star shortstop remains unsure if he will rejoin the lineup Tuesday for the start of a three-game home series with the Nationals. Reyes missed his second consecutive game this afternoon after aggravating his sore hamstring while running out a ball in Friday’s win over the Brewers. He was replaced at short once again by Damion Easley.

“It’s going to depend on how I feel after treatment [Monday],” Reyes said this morning when asked if he would definitely be back Tuesday.
