Jose Reyes left the Mets this afternoon after learning that his grandmother died today.

The shortstop left immediately to return to Santiago, DR and was placed on the bereavement list, which means he will miss a minimum of three days and a maximum of seven. No roster move has been made to replace him yet. Additionally, Ike Davis has returned to New York to have his sprained ankle and bone bruise examined again.
