Jose Reyes finally set a date for surgery on his right hamstring tendon — it will be Thursday in Dallas by Cowboys team physician Daniel Cooper.

Reyes will have scar tissue removed from the tendon, and the Mets still insist the shortstop will be ready for the start of spring training.
