Rich Hill’s long and winding career will take another new turn in 2023.

The 42-year-old left-hander is signing with the Pittsburgh Pirates on a one-year, $8 million contract, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed. ESPN first reported the news.

The Pirates will be Hill’s 12th MLB team, and 2023 will mark his 19th season in the majors after debuting with the Cubs in 2005.

Hill had a 4.27 ERA with 109 strikeouts across 26 starts last season for the Red Sox, his third major-league stint with the team and his fourth overall with the club.

The southpaw has spent time with both New York teams. The Mets acquired him from the Rays in July 2021, pitching to a 3.84 ERA in 13 appearances (12 starts). He also played for the Yankees in 2014 after initially signing a minor-league deal, pitching to a 1.69 ERA in 5 ⅓ innings across 14 appearances.
