The Philadelphia Inquirer reports today that Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins will miss at least the first game of this weekend’s series against the Mets in Philadelphia due to the combination of an ankle injury and a family funeral. The reigning NL MVP has been out of the starting lineup for the past seven games due to the ankle sprain.
