He didn’t get a ring, and he lost some jewelry.
Yasiel Puig’s home was burglarized during Wednesday’s Game 7 of the World Series, TMZ Sports reported, jewelry being stolen as the mercurial right-fielder was going 0-for-3 in the Dodgers’ 5-1 loss that ended the series.
A burglar broke into the San Fernando Valley, Calif., home of Puig’s by breaking a window, which set off an alarm. According to the report, the thief then grabbed jewels and left, the whole scene being caught on surveillance video.
The 26-year-old left Dodger Stadium to return to the house, and ended his night by talking to cops about the break-in.
A Puig house — though a different one — was broken into in March, too, when robbers pawned about $500,000 worth of jewelry.
