ATLANTA — Mets ace Johan Santana was named the National League’s Pitcher of the Month for April after compiling a 3-1 record and league-low 1.10 ERA. This marks Santana’s second consecutive monthly honor (he also won for September 2008) and the two-time Cy Young winner’s eighth overall. Santana’s next start is Wednesday at Citi Field against the rival Phillies.
