Johan Santana (pictured) was treated with a PolyMem patch today that reduced virtually all of the swelling in his left shoulder.

The swelling stemmed from the Randy Wolf pitch that drilled him in his left (pitching) shoulder Friday night as he squared to bunt in the sixth inning.

“It’s a little stiff, but it feels a lot better than I thought it would,” said Santana, who added that he doesn’t think the minor injury will interrupt his pitching schedule.
