PORT ST. LUCIE — Brian Schneider‘s planned return to the lineup was scratched today, and the Mets say they don’t know when the catcher will be back. Schneider continues to be hobbled by injuries to his right knee and calf he suffered on Tuesday. Ramon Castro, Rene Rivera and Omir Santos will handle the catching duties in Schneider’s absence, with Robinson Cancel called over if necessary.
