The busiest man in baseball negotiated the Yankees’ Carlos Rodon deal from behind enemy lines.

Scott Boras, the MLB super-agent who represents a good chunk of baseball’s star talent, finalized the details of Rodon’s Yankees contract while at Fenway Park for the introduction of another one of his clients – Japanese outfielder Masataka Yoshida.

Per the Boston Globe, the late-stage negotiations between Boras and the Yankees for Rodon’s deal “took place as Boras snacked on food from a buffet provided by the Red Sox.”

The Yankees agreed to a six-year, $162 million deal with Rodon, the former Giants and White Sox starting pitcher, on Thursday, Jon Heyman of The Post reported. Rodon is expected to be the second starter in the rotation behind Gerrit Cole — another Boras client.

It’s been an extremely fruitful offseason for Boras, who has seen a handful of his clients get massive deals. Earlier this week, Carlos Correa signed a 13-year, $350 million deal with the Giants after a brief Mets flirtation.

Another one of Boras’ clients, Xander Bogaerts, spurned the Red Sox after he spent 10 seasons in Boston, agreeing to an 11-year, $280 million deal with the Padres.
