I’m not a big Padres guy — I think they’ve basically been the same type of team and quality of team for the last few years. But this series is tough for the Mets, with San Diego throwing Young and Peavy.

I think the Mets will struggle, which is unfortunate for them, since a very good homestand could make next week’s trips to Philly and Atlanta much less important. I say the Mets drop two of three to the Padres here.
