Yes, we have an El Duque sighting: Mets right-hander Orlando Hernandez made his first minor-league rehab assignment today in Port St. Lucie in a Gulf Coast League game against the Cardinals. Hernandez threw 62 pitches in four innings of work, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk while striking out six. He then threw 15 pitches in a bullpen session.

El Duque, who is believed to be between 39 and 43 years old (no one knows for sure), has been on the shelf all season since being dogged throughout spring training by a bunion and a strained toe ligament in his right foot.
