PORT ST. LUCIE — It won’t exactly be a star-packed lineup the Mets send to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow for their Grapefruit League opener with the Orioles. Jerry Manuel has posted the travel roster, and the only regulars going are Luis Castillo, Daniel Murphy and Ryan Church. That doesn’t appear to be happenstance, considering all three have much to prove to Manuel this spring.
