Steve Cohen and his wife Alex sealed the Mets’ NLDS-clinching victory with a kiss.

The Mets owner and his missus celebrated with a kiss on the field after the Amazin’s eliminated the Phillies in Game 4 Wednesday night at Citi Field to advance to their first NLCS since 2015.

After making the playoffs once over Cohen’s first three seasons as the team’s owner and failing to win a playoff series, the Mets have now taken out the Brewers and Phillies in the wild-card round and NLDS, respectively, with an eye on fulfilling Cohen’s hope of winning a World Series within the first three-to-five years owning the club.

The Cohens hugged hero Francisco Lindor after the Mets shortstop, who has carried the team much of the season, hit an electrifying go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning of the team’s 4-1 win.

It was Lindor’s first home run this postseason, and his first since his stunning go-ahead, ninth-inning home run in Game 161 against the Braves that clinched the Mets a playoff berth in one of their wildest games ever.

Cohen and the Mets had lowered expectations this season under first-year president David Stearns and rookie manager Carlos Mendoza after failing last season to build off the team’s 101-win campaign in 2022.

They made less splashy moves like signing Sean Manaea, Luis Severino and J.D. Martinez, and after a rocky start the team soared in the second half to get into the postseason.

And now they await either the Dodgers or Padres to play for a chance at competing in the World Series.
