Nick Swisher returned to the Yankees lineup on Sunday against the Royals, and hit a third-inning home run in the 10-3 victory.

Swisher had missed a week after straining his hamstring last Sunday against the Tigers. Swisher batted sixth, but did not return to the field, instead starting as the DH.

DeWayne Wise filled in for Swisher in right field.
