Pop star Ariana Grande’s new album “Sweetener” has a track titled “Pete Davidson,” a love song she wrote for her fiancé. The one-minute, 14-second ditty has the overjoyed Grande using the word “happy” 22 times. Not sure how Davidson feels about the song, but he wasn’t “happy” after he and his friend were pulled over in upstate New York at 4 a.m. The SNL star was driving and passed a sobriety test but his buddy was arrested for possession of marijuana and weed edibles. Now Pete is rumored to be writing a song, “Fall Guy,” that will use the word “adios” 22 times. And the Mets’ Dominic “Crash” Smith wrote Stitches an email that used the word “sorry” 22 times.
Backing the worst team in baseball today. The Orioles are in Toronto and there may be an opening for a rare win. David Hess allowed a two-run homer, nothing more, against the powerful Indians lineup. Matched with the Jays’ Thomas Pannone who is making his first start. 20 units on the O’s.
Nats beat the Phillies 10-4. Philly put a four spot on the board in the sixth before the home team scored nine unanswered. Cubs didn’t do their part. Edged by the Tigers 2-1. Chicago leaving 10 men on base. Fractional gains have us at -728 aykroyds.
