Jerry Manuel shifted gears this afternoon and said Fernando Tatis will now be the team’s regular right fielder, with the rookie tandem of Nick Evans and Daniel Murphy platooning in left. Endy Chavez will remain the fourth outfielder. Of course, this would all change when (or if) right fielder Ryan Church comes off the DL. Manuel had announced earlier this week that the hot-hitting Tatis would be the team’s every-day left fielder.
