Mark Teixeira’s jammed shoulder is well enough for the first baseman to play Friday for the Yankees against the Blue Jays after he sat out Thursday’s game.

Derek Jeter also is back batting leadoff after being given Thursday off.

Andruw Jones will be the DH in place of slumping Jorge Posada.

Backup catcher Francisco Cervelli is on hand and likely to be activated, taking Gustavo Molina’s roster spot.
