Mark Teixeira left tonight’s Yankees-Orioles game in the fourth inning with a bruised left foot, but expects to be in the lineup tomorrow night.

Teixeira fouled a ball off the foot in the first inning, but remained in the game. After his at-bat in the third inning, the pain became too great and he was replaced by Juan Miranda to start the fourth.

“It hurt,” Teixeira said. “I thought I could play through it. … I thought it might have loosened up but it stiffened up.”

But he does not expect this to keep him out.

“I fully expect to be in tomorrow,” he said.
