Just a few pregame notes from Yankee Stadium today.

Marcus Thames was activated this morning and Chad Huffman was sent back to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Thames said his hamstring feels fine and he faced some tests during his four rehab games with chasing down balls in the outfield.

Nick Johnson will go to Tampa tomorrow to begin swinging a bat. He is still weeks away from playing in a game it sounds like.
