Brandon Drury is expected to play a rehab game with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to continue his comeback from the blurry vision and migraines that have sidelined him since April 7.

“Assuming everything goes well [Tuesday], the plan is for him to go to Scranton [Wednesday],” manager Aaron Boone said before the Yankees’ 8-3 win over the Twins at the Stadium.

The manager added they will see how Drury feels as his activity increases before looking too far ahead.

“We want to get through today and get him feeling comfortable with going out and playing a game,” Boone said. “We’ll see how the response is after the game Wednesday and if we feel like we’re ready to build him up after that. A lot of it will be the feedback we get from him.”

Greg Bird (ankle) was held out of baseball activities Tuesday because of an ingrown toenail, but he is still slated to go to the team’s complex in Tampa on Friday. Bird believes he will be back with the Yankees next month.

“He’ll probably get a few heavy days of work down there and hopefully start games shortly thereafter,’’ Boone said. “He’s on track. It feels like he’s getting closer.”
