A glittering trophy case and a bargain 2019 salary might not be enough to keep Madison Bumgarner with the San Francisco Giants.

The ace left-hander is being shopped to other teams, MLB.com’s Jon Paul Morosi reported Monday.

According to Morosi, teams engaging in preliminary discussions with the Giants about Bumgarner include the Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies. Morosi added that the Atlanta Braves inquired earlier in the offseason about Bumgarner but are no longer viewed as a likely trade partner.

A Phillies package for Bumgarner might include Zach Eflin. The 24-year-old Philadelphia right-hander also has been shopped to the Arizona Diamondbacks in talks revolving around first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, The Athletic’s Jayson Stark reported Monday.

Bumgarner, 29, will make $12 million next year after the Giants picked up his contract last month. He will be a free agent following the 2019 season.

A four-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion with the Giants, Bumgarner is coming off a season in which he went 6-7 with a 3.26 ERA in 21 starts. He was sidelined for the first two months with a broken bone in his pitching hand, but he wound up with the fourth-lowest home ERA (1.63) in the big leagues.

Bumgarner owns a 110-83 career record with a 3.03 ERA and 1,591 strikeouts in 10 major league seasons, all with the Giants. San Francisco’s first-round draft pick in 2007 (10th overall) out of South Caldwell High School in Hudson, NC, he made his big-league debut two years later.

In 2014, after helping the Giants to their third title in five years, he was selected the NLCS and World Series MVP.
