AL MVP

1. Shohei Ohtani: It’s halfway through the year, and it’s already over. 2. Aaron Judge: Showing value in absentia. 3. Corey Seager: Has missed as much time as Judge.

NL MVP

1. Ronald Acuña: Threatening to become the first 40-80 man. 2. Corbin Carroll: Worth every penny of extension. 3. Mookie Betts: Playing both middle infield positions while putting up big numbers.

AL Cy Young

1. Shane McClanahan: Dominant. 2. Gerrit Cole: Consistent force. 3. Framber Valdez: Underrated star.

NL Cy Young

1. Zac Gallen: Cardinals may have surrendered back-to-back Cy Young winners for Marcell Ozuna. 2. Justin Steele: Out of nowhere, a star. 3. Clayton Kershaw: All-time great doesn’t stop.

AL Rookie of the Year

1. Josh Jung: One of three Rangers infielders on the All-Star team. 2. Masataka Yoshida: Turns out $90M may not be an overpayment. 3. Gunnar Henderson: Living up to potential and cool name now.

2. NL Rookie of the Year

1. Corbin Carroll. 2. Elly De La Cruz: Once in a decade talent. 3. Eury Perez: Great group, including Kodai Senga, Francisco Alvarez, Matt McLain, etc.
