The Padres went all-in at the trade deadline. They made one of the biggest moves in the history of baseball to acquire Juan Soto from the Nationals. They also traded for one of the best closers in the game in Josh Hader. Oh yeah, and they got Josh Bell and Brandon Drury too. Not too shabby a deadline for Padres GM A.J. Preller.
Preller joined Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman on “The Show” podcast this week to talk about his busy trade deadline, his expectations for the team moving forward, Fernando Tatis Jr.’s return soon and much more.
