The Yankees have at least one person in Manny Machado’s camp on their side.

Machado’s nephew, J.J., was asked by Hall of Fame pitcher Pedro Martinez what team he wants his uncle to play for if he is no longer an Oriole during MLB Network’s broadcast at the All-Star Game on Monday night.

“Yankees,” J.J. said, leaving Machado to just shake his head in disbelief.

“I was hoping you’d say the Boston Red Sox or something more like that,” replied Martinez, who won two World Series with Boston. “That’s OK though.”

“I like that answer,” added fellow analyst Al Leiter, a former Mets and Yankees pitcher.

If the Yankees do land the Orioles slugger it will be to help them catch the Red Sox, whom they trail by 4½ games in the AL East at the All-Star break. According to The Post’s Joel Sherman, the Phillies, Dodgers and Brewers are the teams most aggressively pursuing Machado with the Yankees among a group of clubs on the outside hoping Machado falls to them.

If J.J. had his way, his uncle would do just that.
