Josh Thole and Eddie Kunz were the notable names among players sent to the Mets’ minor league camp today.

Thole, Kunz and Clint Everts were optioned to the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, while former major league pitchers R.A. Dickey and Josh Fogg, pitchers Eric Niesen, Jack Egbert, Travis Blackley, Arturo Lopez, and Bobby Livingston, outfielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis and infielders Andy Green and Luis Hernandez all were sent to minor league camp. The Mets now have 46 players in major league camp.

The Bisons play their first spring training game Friday in St. Lucie.
