Here are three potential targets for the Mets this offseason:

Robbie Ray

Other than Max Scherzer (who seems enamored with the West Coast), Ray is probably the best starting pitcher available, and the Mets have a need, especially for a left-hander. Ray led the AL with a 2.84 ERA and became a Cy Young contender with the Blue Jays.

Kris Bryant AP Kris Bryant AP

Kris Bryant

The Mets had interest in trading for him last winter and during the season. Bryant would provide an upgrade at third base who could shift to the outfield as needed, bringing a right-handed bat to that mix.

Michael Conforto

He’s already got the qualifying offer in hand for next season, but can the Mets and their homegrown right fielder find common ground on a longer deal? Conforto shouldn’t have a problem finding suitors if the Mets decide to hold at the qualifying offer.
