Ticket prices for Mets World Series home games are soaring out of the ballpark.
The average ticket price for the upcoming games at Citi Field is $1,667.82 — making the showdown against the Kansas City Royals the most expensive in baseball history.
The Mets edged out the San Francisco Giants — whose ticket prices broke the record in 2010 — by $6, according to TiqIQ.com.
Mets fans would get a better deal if they fly to Missouri and score tickets for the first two games of the series, which start at about $340.
But once the showdown comes to Citi Field, the prices will balloon.
Right now, the cheapest New York ticket is Game 3 — at $713 as of Sunday. But the average ticket for that matchup is up to $1,572.
Game 4 on Halloween averages about $1,609 with the most affordable tickets starting at $720.
The hottest ticket is a potential Game 5. The average price has risen as high as $1,841, according to TiqIQ.
