The Yankees aren’t the only one of Johnny Damon’s former teams who could sign the 38-year old.

According to a FOXSports.com report, the Tigers have expressed interest in Damon, who he played for them in 2010 after spending four years with the Yankees.

The Tigers lost starting DH Victor Martinez for most, if not all, of the season when he suffered a torn ACL recently.

The report states that Damon is a “stronger possibility” than Derrek Lee for the Tigers

The Yankees are considering several options at DH, including Damon and former Yankees teammate Hideki Matsui.
