Tim Tebow might need to book a mini violin as he and former Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, continue to plan their wedding.
Discussing the forthcoming plans with People, the Mets prospect revealed that narrowing down prospective options has proven to be a difficult task.
“We haven’t even figured out what continent we’re getting married on,” Tebow said, noting, “Sometimes, having a lot of choices isn’t necessarily a good thing.”
Tebow, 31, announced his engagement to Nel-Peters, 23, in January. The future newlyweds later celebrated with Mickey Mouse in Walt Disney World.
“She’s such a special person,” Tebow gushed of the soon-to-be Mrs. “I’ll be really blessed to have her in the rest of my life.”
Following the proposal, Nel-Peters headed back to her native South Africa for a few weeks, where she “got to spend time with my family and see my friends.”
As Tebow trained with the Mets during spring training in Florida, he and Nel-Peters would communicate via FaceTime.
“We’re starting to figure everything out, but we have a lot to do,” he said.
Though a wedding date has yet to be revealed, Tebow, who has been reassigned to the Mets’ Triple-A team in Syracuse, says that much of the planning is Nel-Peters’ “area of expertise.”
Tebow confirmed his relationship with Nel-Peters last summer.
