It looks like Tim Tebow has rediscovered his power stroke.
The former Jet quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner blasted a solo home run for the Binghamton (N.Y.) Rumble Ponies during a 6-5 loss in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Saturday.
Saturday’s blast was Tebow’s second homer in three days.
On Thursday, the Florida national-championship winning quarterback belted a 3-run homer in the Rumble Ponies’ 10-6 victory over the Fisher Cats.
The Rumble Ponies lost Game 2, 2-0, and Tebow went 0-for-2.
Tebow is batting .241 this season with three home runs and 12 RBIs.
Binghamton is the Mets’ Double-A affiliate.
