After going nine innings with both teams failing to score a run, Trenton finally plated the game-winning run on a single by James Cooper in the bottom of the tenth to give the Thunder a 1-0 win over Altoona this afternoon. After struggling Saturday for Trenton – just hours after learning he would be traded, only to find out he wasn’t – starter George Kontos was fantastic today, allowing one run in eight innings, striking out 13 and walking one.
