The Home Run Derby now has a sentimental favorite.
Cancer survivor Trey Mancini of the Orioles has accepted an invitation to take part in the showcase July 12 at Coors Field in Colorado, ESPN reported, after missing all of last season following surgery to remove a tumor from his colon and chemotherapy.

The first baseman/DH joins a star-studded group that includes Shohei Ohtani of the Angels and defending champion Pete Alonso of the Mets.
