Donald Trump unloaded yesterday on injured Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, who watched Opening Day from the Yankee Stadium dugout.
“The Yankees should immediately stop paying A-Rod,” Trump wrote on Twitter, “he signed his contract without telling them he was a druggie.”
Trump cited last week’s reveal that Rodriguez’s $29 million salary this season is more than the Astros’ entire payroll.
“A-Rod’s salary is more than the entire @astros,” Trump wrote. “Half the players on @astros will have better seasons than him. A-Rod is a joke!”
