Ambidextrous reliever Pat Venditte rode a dominant NY-Penn League season to earning the top short-season reliever in the minors, according to milb.com.

Venditte was 1-0 with an 0.83 ERA and 23 saves in 30 appearances for the Staten Island Yankees. In 32.2 innings, he allowed five runs (three earned) on 13 hits, striking out 42 and walking 10.
