Even Hugo Chavez caught Mets fever last night. The Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez congratulated Venezuela native Johan Santana in a message on Twitter, calling him a “golden left-hander” and “Giant Johan.”
“What pride! Long live Venezuela!” Chavez said in the message.
