Remember him, Mets fans? That would be the same Victor Zambrano that the Mets foolishly traded Scott Kazmir for back in 2003. Well, Victor is back in New York, all right – just this time as a member of the Yankees Double-A affiliate, the Trenton Thunder.

Zambrano, who was signed as a minor league free agent earlier this summer by the Yankees, has now thrown 13 scoreless innings in the minor leagues since being signed by the Yankees – punctuated with five scoreless innings yesterday for Trenton. Zambrano allowed four hits, struck out five and walked one.
