The losing isn’t getting Mr. Met down.

The Mets’ beloved mascot was on the field hamming it up with his MLB counterparts before the Home Run Derby at Nationals Park on Monday night.

Mr. Met, during what appeared to be photo and video shoot, was dancing alongside the other mascots and later posing with his arms outstretched like Rocky Balboa. As the rest of the mascots were exiting the field, Mr. Met could still be seen shaking his hips before turning to realize he was dancing alone.

The Mets, who are 39-55 and in last place in the NL East, are represented by just ace Jacob deGrom in Washington. None of that has seemed to dampen Mr. Met’s spirits.
