The Yankees season finished in disappointing fashion by getting swept by the Tigers in the ALCS.

The lifeless playoff offense was to blame, and the Yankees will enter the offseason likely focused on ways to improve it. And that will likely start with Alex Rodriguez , who was benched for Game 5 of the ALDS and Games 3 and 4 of the ALCS. A-Rod has a monster contract that will be difficult to trade, but that doesn’t mean the Yankees won’t try.
