LUCIE — My colleague Mark Hale has an interesting story in today’s print edition of The Post about the ongoing disagreement between Billy Wagner and the Mets about the pace of the closer’s recovery from Tommy John surgery. It appears to me the Mets have no interest in Wagner coming back this season, in part because they have moved on to Frankie Rodriguez and J.J. Putz, but Wagner has other plans.
