The Mets expect to activate Billy Wagner in the next day or two unless the veteran closer has a setback in his simulated game between doubleheader contests tonight, Jerry Manuel said. Wagner has been sidelined since Aug. 3 with a strained left forearm and swelling in his left elbow.
